American Cancer Society

Rebecca Bross is the Senior Development Manager at the American Cancer Society (ACS), based in Charlotte, NC. In her role as a dedicated development leader at ACS in Charlotte, she spearheads local fundraising, volunteer coordination, and community outreach. Her efforts directly support patients and families through practical aid, while also amplifying research, equity, and awareness in cancer care.

I own Merry Maids of Charlotte, a local provider of residential and small-scale commercial cleaning services. Owned by my family since 1995, Merry Maids specializes in outstanding customer service while delivering sparkling clean homes.  We take great pride in our family-like culture.  Our goal is to support our team members, whether it is helping them buy their first home or saving for retirement.  We are also a proud women-owned and women managed business.  We are deeply passionate about Charlotte, its surrounding areas, and we love getting involved with local causes.  Our goal is to provide our clients with “one less thing to worry about.”  You have better things to do with your time than clean your home or office!

Margaret's passion for health and wellness was ignited early in life, growing up on an urban farm in New Hampshire where she learned the value of whole, natural foods. This foundation led her to earn a degree in Health Promotions and pursue advanced certifications in health coaching. Her approach is rooted in the belief that small, sustainable changes can lead to profound improvements in overall well-being.


Through her practice, Donovan Coaching, Margaret offers a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their health goals. She employs a collaborative process that includes goal setting, data gathering, and active coaching sessions, tailored to each individual's needs. Her clients appreciate her empathetic listening and ability to guide them toward their own solutions, fostering lasting change.


Margaret is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Charlotte, contributing to community engagement and wellness initiatives.

    • Sleep disorders - such as bedtime problems, insomnia, jet-lag, shift work, circadian disorders, CPAP habituation, Narcolepsy/hypersomnolence

    • Concussion program consultation and development for recreational, elite, and professional athletes

In her role, she supports the operational, administrative, and communication functions that help the organization deliver high-quality events and programs throughout the region.

With a professional background in social work, photography, and office administration, Bee brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a people-first mindset to the MyOutdoorJoy team. She plays a key role in coordinating events, managing partner communication, and ensuring that the organization’s mission is carried out with clarity and excellence.

Although newer to the outdoor industry, Bee approaches her work with dedication and purpose. She credits her faith and obedience to God for guiding her into this role and shaping the way she serves the community, while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence in all she does.

Bee is passionate about supporting MyOutdoorJoy’s growth, strengthening community partnerships, and helping create meaningful experiences that encourage individuals and families to explore the outdoors with confidence.
