Commonwealth High School is a tuition-free public charter high school serving grades 9–12 (*through age 22). With open enrollment and flexible morning, afternoon, and evening sessions, we help students earn their diploma while balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. Our personalized, self-paced program allows students to progress on a schedule that fits real life.

Through strong partnerships with local businesses, families, and community organizations, Commonwealth High School helps students overcome barriers, build essential workforce skills, and graduate prepared for college, careers, and future success. Our mission is to expand opportunity and create brighter futures for students while strengthening the Charlotte community.
