Charity Event- Walk for Blind Independence

Description

Lions Services is a 501(c)(3) based in Charlotte, N.C. The walk for Blind Independence supports the mission of Lions Services: Empowering people who are blind to achieve personal and economic independence by providing them with vocational rehabilitation and employment opportunities. About the Charity Walk: Attendees will complete a 2 mile walk on paved trails at the Eastway Regional Recreation Center surrounded by scenic nature preserve and wetlands. This gathering aims to bring together individuals from the community who either experience low vision or have a love one affected by it. Everyone is welcome to participate. Our goal for this walk is to raise $50,000, your presence and support will make all the difference. Join us to support and build a brighter future for the visually impaired and blind community. Let's raise awareness and funds to sustain and expand jobs at Lions Services for greater INCLUSION! We look forward to walking alongside you on October 5th!
